Justin Timberlake is an outstanding American singer, songwriter, composer, producer, dancer and actor. UAportal told about the star's biography, collecting five unexpected facts.

Beginning of his career

Timberlake's early life was marked by significant changes. When he was 4, his parents divorced and created new families. Despite these challenges, Timberlake's passion for music blossomed. Influenced by artists such as Al Green, Michael Jackson, and Elton John, he made his debut as a musician on the television show Star Search, where he showcased his talent in the country music genre.

At the age of 12, Timberlake became a household name when he joined the cast of the popular children's show The Mickey Mouse Club. This platform introduced him to budding stars such as Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and James Chase.

Music career

In 2002, he embarked on a solo career and released his first solo album Justified, which earned him two Grammy awards. Timberlake subsequently released his second studio album FutureSex/LoveSounds in 2006, which was a huge worldwide success and earned him three more Grammy Awards.

In 2016, Timberlake graced the Eurovision stage in Sweden, captivating the audience with a rendition of his hit Can't Stop The Feeling. Throughout his career, Timberlake has collaborated with many famous artists including Madonna, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Jay-Z, further enhancing his musical prowess.

Movie Industry

Apart from music, Timberlake has also tried his hand at acting. He showcased his talent in movies such as They Swapped Places (2000), Will of Chance (2001), Edison (2005), Alpha Dog (2006), Black Snake Moan (2006), The Social Network (2010), and many others.

In particular, his performance in the movie "The Social Network" received positive reviews from critics, as well as several awards and nominations. Timberlake has also lent his voice to various animated films, including Trolls: The World Tour (2020), Yogi Bear, and Shrek.

Personal life

In his personal life, Timberlake has had a high-profile relationship.  Startiing with an affair with Britney Spears as a teenager, Timberlake later dated Jenna Doane, Stacey Ferguson, and Alyssa Milano. In 2003, he began a courtship with actress Cameron Diaz that lasted about four years.

After their breakup, Timberlake entered into a relationship with Jessica Biel. After a long courtship, they married in the fall of 2012. The couple had their firstborn son Silas Randall in the spring of 2015 and their second son Phineas five years later.

Britney Spears scandal

The relationship between Britney Spears, who was 17, and Justin Timberlake, who was 18 at the time, began in 1999 and lasted for three years until their breakup in 2002. Their breakup gave rise to Timberlake writing and dedicating the song Cry Me A River to Spears, much to the singer's offense. Two decades later, Justin Timberlake apologized to Britney and supported her during her emancipation trial.

Recently, famous American singer Britney Spears made a heartfelt revelation about her past. She revealed that at the age of 19, during her relationship with Justin Timberlake, she made the hard decision to terminate her pregnancy through abortion. This choice was made primarily because Timberlake was not ready for fatherhood at that stage of his life.
