Eliminating the smell of tobacco from clothes can be a difficult task, but it can be easily achieved with the right life hacks. UAportal has prepared some effective tips and methods to help get rid of this unpleasant odor from clothes.

Use a mixture of vinegar and water

The solution can be made by filling a spray bottle with equal portions of vinegar and water. Using baking soda

Sprinkle baking soda on soiled items of clothing and leave for several hours or overnight. After the specified time, shake off the excess baking soda and wash the clothes as usual. The baking soda will absorb the unwanted odor, leaving the clothes with a fresh scent.

Using activated carbon

Put a few activated carbon briquettes in an airtight bag or container with the tobacco-smelling clothes. Close the bag or container and leave it for a few days.

After that, remove the clothes, shake off the excess charcoal, and wash them as usual. The activated carbon will gradually absorb the odor so that the clothes do not have a tobacco smell.
