How to easily remove wax from carpet: simple methods that will save you money

Candles are a wonderful decorative element that creates coziness and an incredible atmosphere. However, sometimes they leave stains on the carpet, which are very difficult to get rid of. UAportal has prepared three methods that will help you quickly cope with this problem.

Freezing the wax

Put a plastic bag with ice cubes in the desired area for a few minutes. The cold temperature will cause the wax to harden, making it easier to scrape off later.

Heating

Place a clean cloth or paper towel over the stain and then gently run the iron over it. However, the heat level should be at a low setting first. The heat will melt the wax and absorb all of its contents at the same time.

Carpet cleaner

Make sure you choose a carpet cleaner that is suitable for removing wax stains. Follow the instructions on the product label to achieve the best results.
