Rust stains can appear on any garment, even if you take great care with your clothes. However, it is very difficult to get rid of them. That's why UAportal has prepared three ways to help you effectively deal with this problem.

Lemon juice and salt

First, squeeze fresh lemon juice into the required area and sprinkle it well with salt. Gently rub the cloth to create an exfoliating effect. Leave the mixture on for about 30 minutes and then rinse the garment with cold water. Wash the item in the usual way and the rust stain should disappear.

Vinegar and baking soda

Apply plain white vinegar to the stained area, sprinkle it with baking soda and leave it on for a few minutes. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently rub the mixture into the stain. Then rinse the product with cold water and wash it as usual.

Rust removers

If the previous methods do not work, use specially formulated products to tackle stubborn stains on various surfaces. For best results, follow the instructions on the product packaging. Be sure to test the product on a small, inconspicuous part of the fabric before applying it to the entire contaminated area.
