If your refrigerator is collecting too much moisture and condensation is forming on the walls and shelves, you need to address the problem as soon as possible. In a humid environment, bacteria and harmful microorganisms will grow faster and turn your food into poison.

The Sante publication writes that toilet paper can help with this problem, as it can absorb excess moisture and reduce frost formation.

"In fact, toilet paper is made of cellulose, which contains porous tissues that can absorb moisture. If you put it in the refrigerator, it can effectively eliminate unpleasant odors. Indeed, if you put a roll of paper in the fridge, you will see that the toilet paper gradually becomes wet, which means that it has actually absorbed a significant amount of moisture from your device," the publication writes.

When the paper roll becomes wet, replace it with a dry one and put it back in the fridge.

If this method doesn't work for you, try replacing the paper with silica gel packets or cat litter.
