"Masks-show" by a "Ukrainian sabotage group" took place in the Russian Bryansk region: Putin called the event a terrorist attack and once again talked about historical memory (more details)

On Thursday, March 2, Russian media and Telegram channels reported that an "Ukrainian enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group" allegedly attacked two settlements in the region in the Bryansk region. However, from the very beginning, something did not go according to plan for the Russians.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has already reacted to the events at the border. He did not say anything specific but considered it a terrorist act.

In particular, he said: "Another act of terrorism, another crime was committed today. [They] infiltrated the border area and opened fire on civilians. [They] saw that it was a civilian car, that there were civilians and children inside. "Niva", a regular car, they opened fire on it. These are the kind of people who set out to leave us without historical memory, our history, our traditions, our language!"

Putin then added: "This violence is a real crime committed by the neo-Nazis I was just talking about and their masters. I'm sure that today's crime will not be remembered by these masters; no one will even pay attention to it. But I repeat - they won't succeed, we'll suppress them."

UAportal collected reports from the Russian social media and press to somehow reproduce the timeline of events. By the way, recall that Operational Command "North" reported on a possible provocation of the Russians as early as a week ago.

What happened in the Bryansk region, the version of the Russian side

At approximately 10:30 a.m., Russian Telegram channels published the following information: "A sabotage group infiltrated the territory of the Bryansk region and fired at a car. A man was killed, and a ten-year-old child was wounded." Initially, it was reported that the girl was shot - she seems to have been shot in the back. It was also reported that the child had died (later, it would come back to life and turn out to be the boy Fedor).

Some media began to write that the school bus has been shot, then Russians remembered the children were studying remotely.

The Governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said: "Today, the sabotage and reconnaissance group from Ukraine infiltrated the territory of the Klimovsky district to the village of Lyubechany. The saboteurs fired at a moving vehicle. As a result of the shelling, one resident was killed, and a ten-year-old child was wounded. The child has now been taken to the hospital, and is being provided with all the necessary medical care. The armed forces of the Russian Federation are taking all necessary measures to eliminate the sabotage group."

Within 20 minutes, the Russian media wrote the following: "About 50 saboteurs have taken the villagers of Sushany hostage." The Russians did not forget to point out that the "members of the sabotage and reconnaissance group" wore yellow armbands, and they also had weapons and - attention! - leaflets (later, there were 80 saboteurs, and later even a hundred).

"According to preliminary information, a group of 50 armed people with yellow armbands entered a village in the Bryansk region and took some of the residents hostage. Others managed to escape, while others closed themselves in their houses. At least man, woman and two children held hostage."

A few minutes later, the Baza Telegram channel reported: "Fighting continues in the border village of Sushany in the Bryansk region, explosions can be heard. According to preliminary reports, a group of saboteurs entered there. Residents are hiding in basements and cellars, explosions are heard in the village."

Also, an electric substation and a gas station were allegedly blown up in Sushany.

And also: "Several people were taken hostage in a shop in the village of Lyubechany in the Bryansk region."

It was noted that both villages in the Bryansk region, "where saboteurs may have infiltrated," are located right on the border with Ukraine. The distance between them is "20 minutes by car."

Baza also published the story by a resident of the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region:

"Today, around 9 a.m., several dozen people in black uniforms with yellow armbands entered the region. A car was taking children to a school bus en route - saboteurs attacked the car and shot it. The driver died immediately, the boy sitting inside was wounded and helped two girls who were traveling with him to get out of the car. The saboteurs seized two houses in Sushany, capturing many inhabitants, and the rest are sitting in the basements. A paramedic from the neighboring village of Novy Ropsk was also captured by the saboteurs - he was returning by car from a night shift"..

Then came the official report of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation on the events in the Bryansk region:

"The Federal Security Service of Russia and attached forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation are taking measures to destroy armed Ukrainian nationalists who have violated the state border in the border Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region."

Russian media then continued their delusion: "According to the children, there was a driver and three boys in the car: a boy Fedor from the third grade and two girls, Zlata and Elena. The children were taken from the village of Brakhlov to Novy Ropsk, where a school bus was to pick them up. On the way, they were suddenly attacked by a group of unknown men - the driver was killed instantly, and Fedor was shot in the chest, however, he helped the girls to get out, told them to hide in the forest. Later, the wounded boy managed to catch a car on the same road - it took the children as far away from the place of the attack as possible. Fedor immediately called an ambulance. According to the doctors, a fragment or a bullet passed along his rib. The boy has already undergone an operation, now his life is not in danger" (i.e. the girl became a boy and resurrected).

Now it is reported that Putin will soon hold an emergency meeting of the Russian Security Council regarding the filming of an action thriller in the Bryansk region. But this information has already been denied by Putin's press secretary.

Meanwhile, the Russian media writes: "Statements to the emergency services allegedly on behalf of local residents about "dozens of saboteurs", "undermining infrastructure" and "numerous hostages" could have been made by the Center for Information and Psychological Operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to create panic and confuse the authorities, a source in the Bryansk regional administration told us."

By the way, the "hostage paramedic" is already at home.

Meanwhile, the "Russian Volunteer Corps" recorded a video from the Bryansk region, where if stated: "Right now you can see the news about the "Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group". All these are lies of Kremlin propagandists. The Russian Volunteer Corps came to the Bryansk region to show compatriots that there is hope, that free Russian people with arms in their hands can fight the regime."

In Ukraine, the Operational Command "North" stated that it knew nothing about incidents in the Russian border regions.

The Command published a reminder that "the enemy may resort to provocations and try to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

Meanwhile, Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called the information about the infiltration of a group of saboteurs into Russia from the territory of Ukraine a provocation. "The story about Ukrainian sabotage groups in the Russian Federation is a classic deliberate provocation," he wrote on Twitter.

A spokesman of intelligence of Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Andrii Yusov, said in a commentary to the "Suspilne" that he considers the report of the clash in the Bryansk region "a continuation of Russia's transformation, its purification and liberation from Putin's dictatorship."

"The Russian Federation today is such an entity within which there is a large number of inter-national, inter-ethnic, inter-religious, socio-political and other conflicts. There is today’s public statement by the RDK. These are people who are fighting with weapons in their hands against Putin's regime and those who support him....Perhaps Russians are beginning to wake up, to realize something and do some concrete actions," he noted.

Recall that in January, the Russian launched a fake about the death of the Cossack Mykhailo Havryliuk, but he turned out to be alive.
