Ukrainian Armed Forces raise Ukrainian flag in 7 more villages in Zaporizhzhia direction

Ukrainian soldiers have already liberated 7 villages in the southern direction. They managed to do it in a week.

This was reported by Brigadier Oleksiy Hromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, the defense forces have already regained control over 103 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory. The advance of Ukrainian units deep into the enemy's defense ranged from 3 to 6.5 km.

"Over the past week, our troops have advanced deep into the enemy's territory up to three kilometers near Mala Tokmachka and up to seven kilometers near the village south of Velyka Novosilka," he said. Hromov added that Levadne, Novodarivka, Neskuchne, Storozhove, Makarivka and Bilohorivka were liberated in the Berdyansk direction.

Colonel Mykola Urshalovych, Deputy Director of the Department of Employment Planning of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, said at a briefing at the Military Media Center that National Guard units are conducting offensive operations in the Orikhiv direction as part of the Defense Forces.

"Despite a significant density of minefields and intense artillery fire, they have partially succeeded, advancing to a depth of 650 to 1500 meters in the direction of Novopokrovka village," said Mykola Urshalovych.

According to him, in the area of Vremivka and Velyka Novosilka, the National Guard is holding its positions under heavy fire.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated Blahodatne, Donetsk region, from Russian invaders. The titanic fighters of the 68th separate Oleksa Dovbush Ranger Brigade in cooperation with the Defense Forces managed to do this.
