The PFU explained which Ukrainians will have their pensions canceled
Many Ukrainian pensioners were forced to leave the country because of the war. Some citizens plan to stay abroad for a long time.
Such pensioners are concerned about whether they will be able to continue receiving a Ukrainian pension. Specialists from the Pension Fund explained the conditions under which payments will be suspended.
In particular, if a pensioner goes abroad to a permanent place of residence, the pension will not be paid. The State Department of Internal Affairs handles the registration of exit to the PMP.

It is this department that transmits data to the Pension Fund. After receiving information about moving to a permanent place of residence, the PFU stops paying the pension.
A pensioner can also submit an application and documents for moving to a permanent place of residence abroad and receive a pension for six months, starting from the month following the month of deregistration at the place of residence.
This is provided for in Article 51 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance".
We will remind you that earlier the Government made a decision to pay pensions to Ukrainians even in the absence of seniority. This will affect some categories of pensioners.
