The Ministry of Social Policy explained why the payment of pension supplements is delayed and when to expect the funds
Ukraine has increased payments to pensioners who continue to work. In particular, in April, pensions were automatically increased for a number of people.
However, these citizens will receive the increase only on July 1. The head of the Ministry of Social Policy, Oksana Zholnovych, explained why this happened during the telethon.
According to her, the delay is due to the receipt of information on the contributions paid from salaries. Thus, the increased payments will be received with a delay of three months.

"For the vast majority of pensioners, the increase amounted to UAH 400-600. For those pensioners whose recalculation did not amount to this amount, we made an additional payment of UAH 100. That is, every pensioner in Ukraine received an increase of at least UAH 100," added the head of the Ministry of Social Policy.
It is worth adding that the increase in pensions for working pensioners in April had its own conditions. In particular, citizens had to:
- continue working after receiving a pension;
- gain at least 24 months of additional work experience.
Earlier, the Government decided to pay pensions to Ukrainians even if they do not have any work experience. This will affect some categories of pensioners.
