Several powerful magnetic storms are expected in April: dangerous dates have been named
A series of moderate intensity magnetic storms is expected in April. However, it is worth taking care on some days when geomagnetic disturbances become more powerful.
The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has updated information on space weather. This is reported by Meteoagent.
According to the NOAA, TESIS satellite systems and scientific international meteorological laboratories around the world, only a two-day powerful magnetic storm is forecast - on April 20-21.
However, geomagnetic disturbances will begin in the first days of April. On April 3-4, magnetic storms with an intensity of 3 points are expected, and on April 5-9, with an intensity of 2 points.
On April 10, the link will take place and will last until April 11, with a magnitude of 4. After that, there will be a decline and geomagnetic disturbances will increase again on April 16-17. Overall, this month is expected to be quite calm.
However, solar activity is gaining strength on the way to the maximum of its activity, which will be reached on April 20-21. After that, no events are expected.

It should be noted that such data is approximate, as it is very difficult to predict solar flares. Forecasts are based on a number of variables that often fluctuate. Therefore, the number of magnetic storms may vary throughout the month, and scientists will be caught unawares by unexpected events.
When strong magnetic storms occur, the planet can experience auroras, short-term interruptions in the operation of electronics, satellites, radio, and even power outages. Weather-dependent people, people with chronic illnesses, and the elderly complain of feeling unwell. However, scientists do not confirm this connection.
How to feel better during magnetic storms
On days when the Earth's geomagnetic field is perturbed, people complain of headaches, high blood pressure, dizziness, nausea, joint and muscle pain, insomnia or drowsiness, weakness, and exacerbation of chronic diseases.
You need to follow a few simple rules to feel better:
- Drink enough clean water and herbal/green tea.
- Give up coffee, alcohol, cigarettes and hookah.
- Give preference to seasonal vegetables and greens, eat less fried, spicy and fatty food.
- Take walks in the fresh air, walk and play sports.
- Ventilate the room and take a contrast shower.
- Avoid stress and conflicts, and be less nervous.
