On Monday, April 15, representatives of the domestic defense sector demonstrated to the head of state Volodymyr Zelensky the latest development of an unmanned aerial vehicle. This advanced drone is equipped with the ability to deliver precision strikes at distances exceeding 100 km.

In addition, it is able to carry a load weighing up to three kilograms. This is reported by Militarny.

The specific model of the new unmanned aerial vehicle remains unknown, but information suggests that it may be similar to the Russian Lancet, capable of hitting targets at a considerable distance.

According to reports, this UAV is equipped with an electric motor and is launched using a catapult. Its unique X-shaped fuselage design promotes high maneuverability and allows it to attack both stationary and mobile targets using a variety of flight trajectories.

This drone can be equipped with fragmentation, thermobaric or anti-tank warheads, the latter of which are capable of penetrating armor up to 40 mm thick. Its top speed is 180 km/h, making it ideal for pursuing targets moving at speeds below 130 km/h, such as the Russian Orlan-10, Zala and Lancet drones. In theory, the drone could also attack helicopters hovering or approaching on opposite courses.

An innovation for this strike UAV is the introduction of a "machine vision" system that allows you to automatically detect targets and direct a warhead at them. At the moment, the UAV is undergoing final tests, but it has already demonstrated its effectiveness in destroying enemy equipment in combat conditions.

Experts predict that this Ukrainian UAV will be able to significantly reduce the combat capabilities of the Russian military in the future.
