Textured and bright: how to make eggs for Easter using colored threads

Easter eggs can be not only beautifully dyed and boiled in various solutions for bright and unusual colors but also decorated with threads and beads. Some artisans also make decoupage - the technology of decorating various surfaces with paper fragments.

To decorate eggs, they must first be boiled. The color of the shell does not matter, because the surface of the egg will be completely decorated.

For original Easter eggs, you need to buy either moulins (colored threads for embroidery) or threads used for crocheting or knitting. And you will also need a natural adhesive to attach the threads to the eggs. Use egg white - add a tablespoon of powdered sugar and a teaspoon of citric acid to it. Beat all ingredients to stiff peaks.

Boiled eggs are smeared with gluten and wrapped with threads, carefully pressing them so that they stick well.

In the same way, beads, threads with beads, and colored millet can be glued to eggs. If you get bored, you can apply "embroidery" on the eggs made of colored beads - choose the desired pattern and place the beads on the egg smeared with egg white glue in the appropriate pattern.

You can also decorate already painted eggs with threads, then you can wrap the eggs with threads as you like, without wrapping them completely.
