However, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not believe that total mobilization is the solution to this problem. Ivan Tymochko, Chairman of the Council of reservists of the ground forces, believes that the military should independently determine who to call up to the Armed forces, writes 24tv.ua.
He emphasized that the first priority is the need for weapons and technical means, and who to put for these weapons and means, including age categories, the military will decide for themselves, taking into account social cuts and opportunities, Tymochko said.
He also expressed the opinion that if the president has not signed the law on lowering the draft age yet, it has certain reasons. At the same time, after the start of the full-scale invasion, many who had already turned 18 went to the front voluntarily.
We will remind, earlier in Ukraine approved a new list of diseases and conditions, according to which the fitness for military service is assessed. Also according to this list the orderly passage of service is limited to the fit.
