You will get a pleasant mint color: how to dye eggs for Easter with nettles
There are many ways to dye Easter eggs in different colors, especially if you have special dyes on hand. However, if you're a fan of natural dyes, you might like this life hack for dyeing Easter eggs with nettles.
The color of the eggs will turn pale green, but choose eggs with white shells to achieve the desired effect. Nettle-dyed eggs will also look good on yellow Easter eggs, which are dyed with turmeric.

To dye the eggs, you will need a bunch of nettles, about 50 grams. Also water, salt (a tablespoon) and vinegar (9%).
How to dye eggs in light green, mint color:
Put half of the nettles in a thick-walled saucepan, then put the eggs with white shells on top, and put the nettles on top again. Pour water to cover the eggs by 2-3 cm. Put the pot with the eggs on the stove and cook over medium heat, covered, until it boils. When the water begins to boil, reduce the heat to low.
After boiling, boil the eggs for 10 minutes, add salt to the water, boil for another 5 minutes, and then turn off the heat, cover the pot and wait 30 minutes for them to infuse in the nettle broth.
When the eggs are set, take a wide, deep bowl and pour two liters of cold water and two tablespoons of vinegar into it. Put the eggs in the solution, wait 2-3 minutes, and then put the finished eggs on paper towels to dry. The vinegar should have fixed the paint.

And if you take brilliant green and sprinkle it on light green Easter eggs, they will have beautiful spots. Such Easter eggs will resemble large quail eggs. If desired, you can brush the dried Easter eggs with vegetable oil to make them shine.
