Things that should never be cleaned with paper towels
Paper towels are a practical and affordable cleaning tool, but they are not suitable for all surfaces.
If you want your items to last you a long time, avoid using paper towels for the following surfaces:
- Computer, phone and TV screens
- Carpet
- Mirrors and glass surfaces
- Glasses
- Lacquered furniture
Computer, phone and TV screens
Paper towels can scratch the fragile surface of the screen. To effectively clean these surfaces, it is recommended to use a microfiber cloth dampened with a disinfectant.

Carpet
Rubbing the stain with a paper towel is useless. On the contrary, this method of wiping risks aggravating the damage. To remove stains from the carpet, it is recommended to use special products and a brush.
Mirrors and glass surfaces
Paper towels can cause scratches and tarnish surfaces. We recommend using a cotton cloth to clean mirrors and glass surfaces.
Glasses
Wiping glasses with a paper towel may scratch the protective surface. It is recommended that you use a soft cloth designed for cleaning eyeglasses.
Lacquered furniture
Paper towels can damage the lacquered surface. To clean lacquered furniture it is recommended to use a microfiber cloth with a special detergent.

If you are not sure whether you can use a paper towel for a certain surface, it is better to choose another material.
