Despite the difficulties, the boy poured water on the stick every day. Over time, green leaves began to appear on the stick, and since then this type of plant has been called "dracaena," which symbolized love, loyalty and miracles.

Some people believe that dracaena leaves that begin to turn yellow, dry or fall off can predict grief in the family or illness among loved ones.
