Boiling water, potassium permanganate, ash, urea, and slaked lime can be used in summer cottages and gardens.
In particular, hot water can be used to get rid of powdery mildew, spots, and free plants from aphids, mites, and many other garden pests. This is done in early spring before the shoots have started active growth. The temperature of the water in the watering can be about 80 degrees. Then at the moment of contact with the branches, it will not burn them.
Manganese is used for processing seeds, tubers, and bulbs. Crops are watered with their solution to prevent the spread of black legs.
Wood ash (ash) helps get rid of cruciferous fleas and aphids. In the morning, spread dry ash in a thin layer under the plants, and the insects will leave them. And when it rains, the ash will begin to give the nutrients contained in it to the plants.

You can make a decoction from the ashes: pour 2-3 liters of boiling water over 300 g of ashes, boil for 20 minutes; let it settle, filter and top up to 10 l. This decoction helps to get rid of aphids and caterpillars, as well as powdery mildew on gooseberries.
Urea is a concentrated nitrogen fertilizer. But it can also be used to protect plants from scabs - one of the most harmful diseases in our gardens. A week or two before the leaves fall, spray the trees with a 4.5-5% urea solution. And fallen leaves - 7-10%. This solution should not get on the plants.
Slaked lime - it is used to neutralize acidic soils and as a source of calcium for plants. But it is still able to protect plants from slugs. Simply create a protective strip of lime around an area at risk of slug attack (such as a bed of lettuce or cabbage). To reduce the consumption of material and increase the effect, spread it not in a continuous strip, but in two or three narrow lines with a distance of 10-15 cm between them.
Tobacco dust - 80 g of dust per liter of water, mix and infuse for 24 hours. Water the seedlings once a week - this will help against midges, aphids, and whiteflies.
