The basic idea of feng shui is that each object in a room has its own place and direction, which affect the location and energy of the room. In order to place furniture in a room according to Feng Shui, you should follow a few rules:

  1. Place the main furniture in the right direction. The main furniture, such as a bed, sofa or table, should be placed in the room so that its back is to the space, not to the window or door. This will give stability and calmness to the room.
  2. Avoid placing furniture near doors. Placing furniture near the door can hinder the free flow of energy in the room. If this is not possible, try placing furniture in a corner, or use screens to create privacy.
  3. Avoid sharp corners. Placing furniture in sharp corners can create a sense of tension and discomfort. If you have furniture with sharp corners, use cutters or rounded cuts to reduce their sharpness.
  4. Arrange furniture to create zones. Arranging furniture in zones can help increase the functionality of a room. For example, in the living room, you can arrange sofas and armchairs around a coffee table to create a social area. Or in the bedroom, you can divide the space into a sleeping area and a rest area.
  5. Use colors to conserve energy. Colors can affect the mood and energy of a room. For instance, you can use warm and pleasant colors such as beige, yellow or orange to increase the energy of the room. Or use white and blue to maintain peace and harmony.
  6. Save space for movement. It is important to keep space for free movement in the room. Don't fill every space with furniture and decor, let the space breathe. This will allow energy to circulate freely and create a a sense of spaciousness.
  7. Maintain balance. It is important to maintain balance in the room. For example, if you have a large sofa on one side of the room, you can use armchairs on the other side to keep the balance of the space.

In general, arranging the furniture in a room according to Feng Shui can help increase the comfort and energy of the room. It is important to keep in mind balance, space for movement, and zoning of the space. Use colors and shapes to preserve energy in your home.
