Even if your clothes don't tear often, there are times when you need to sew them up yourself. In certain cases, it can be challenging to thread the needle on the first try. This not only wastes time but also tests your patience.

Perhaps the needle has too small an eye, or your thread is too frayed. In such cases, these 3 Chinese life hacks can help. They were shared by the YouTube channel "Magic Food".

How to quickly thread a needle:

  1. Use an old toothbrush. Place the thread on it and position the needle on top of the bristles so that the thread itself slips into the eye.
  2. Spread the thread in the palm of your hand and try to wind it onto the needle by rubbing the needle vigorously on your palm. The thread should slip into the eye, forming a knot. Then you just need to pull it through. This method works with needles of any eye thickness.
  3. Create a device for threading the needle's eye using a household cleaning brush. Cut a long piece of lint, fold it in half, and secure it with tape between two large coins. Place the needle on the lint and move it to the very end, as close as possible to the taped coins, then thread it through the other side, tucking it into the fold of the lint. When you remove the needle, you will catch the thread, and it will already be tucked into the eye.
