  1. Using hot water. The first method involves using hot water to expand the lid. Simply hold the jar under a stream of hot water for a few minutes. The heat will help expand the metal lid, making it less rigid. Then, try to unscrew the lid - it should come off more easily.
  2. Rubber gloves or a towel. Another effective method is to use rubber gloves or a towel. They provide a better grip and allow you to hold the lid more securely. Just place the rubber gloves on your hands or wrap a towel around the lid for added grip, and then try to unscrew it. This method offers more durability and allows you to apply force comfortably.
  3. Using a spoon. Another trick is to use a spoon. Insert the edge of the spoon between the lid and the jar, then press down slightly and turn the spoon in both a clockwise and counterclockwise direction. This method helps create additional resistance and eases the twist on the lid, making it easier to open.
  4. Thermal shock. Another effective method involves using thermal shock. You can briefly expose the lid to an open burner flame or place it on a hot surface, such as an iron, for a few seconds. The heat will expand the lid and reduce resistance, making it easier to unscrew.
