White clothes look very nice and neat, but they get dirty quickly and are difficult to wash. It is quite difficult to return white clothes to their snow-white color. This is especially true for socks. UaPortal offers you some life hacks on how to wash white socks.

White socks should be washed frequently, preferably after each wearing. This way, the stains will not have time to get into the fabric and will be easier to wash. Wash white socks at temperatures up to 40°C.

Products for washing white socks

Laundry soap

Wet the socks, rub them with soap, and leave them for 20 minutes. Wash them out.

Citric acid

Add 2 tablespoons of citric acid to a liter of water and put the socks in the solution. Leave for 1 to 2 hours. Wash them.

Spot stain removal

Mix citric acid with laundry detergent in a 1:2 ratio. Apply to the stained areas. Leave it on for an hour. Wash as usual.

Vinegar

Take 1 teaspoon of vinegar and dissolve in a liter of water. Soak your socks in the solution, leave them for an hour, and wash them.
