To begin with, it is important to place the fan in the room correctly. The best place for it is directly in front of the window or near the door. In this way, the fan provides efficient air circulation by drawing cool air from outside and pulling hot air out of the room.

Most fans have a function to change the direction of rotation. In summer, use the counterclockwise mode to create a downward flow of cool air. This will create a breeze-like effect and provide a pleasant cooling sensation.

The fan speed also affects comfort. When the temperature is high, use a high speed to spread the cool air around the room quickly. On less hot days, you can lower the speed for quieter operation.

To maximize cooling efficiency, position the fan so that it creates a cross-flow of air from the window to the fan and then to the door or from one side of the room to the other. This will ensure more even cooling of the room.

The fan can be used for localized cooling by pointing it directly at you or at a specific part of the room where you are. This is especially effective when you want to feel fresh quickly and relieve immediate discomfort.

If you have air conditioning, a fan can help distribute cool air throughout the room. Position the fan in such a way that it directs the airflow from the air conditioner to more distant corners of the room, providing more even cooling.
