October is the best time to prepare for winter. "October 7 is the day you should change your summer blanket for a warm winter one," says sleep expert James Higgins.
"It is in the second week of October that the temperature drops significantly. So on this day, it is best to change your light summer set for a warmer winter one. This applies not only to the blanket, but also to the mattress: you should turn it over to the winter side.
