When preparing pickled food, many people notice that cucumbers lose their color and become less attractive. But there is a simple life hack that will help preserve the appetizing color and make the cucumbers more crispy. It is important to note that the marinade recipe itself is not important for this procedure.

Before pickling cucumbers, follow this procedure. Put the cucumbers in a bowl and then scald them with salted brine.

It's easy to prepare the solution: you need 500 grams of salt for 10 liters of clean water. If you don't have a lot of cucumbers, you can reduce the proportions.

Immediately after scalding, transfer the cucumbers to cold water. It is recommended to add ice cubes to the water to make the procedure even more effective.

Due to the temperature difference, the cucumbers will retain their bright color and become crispier and more appetizing. This procedure will not affect the taste of the cucumbers.
