The introduction of phosphorus, potassium and nitrogen into the soil in August will help the beets to blossom with a generous harvest at the end of the season, Telegraph writes. Thanks to well-balanced nutrition, root crops will become not only large but also sweet and juicy.

You can use nitroammophoska, which is available in any specialized store. To prepare the fertilizer solution, dissolve 40 grams in a bucket of water and pour it over the beets. When applying the nutrient liquid, it is important to avoid getting it directly under the root of the plants, as it is better to pour the crops between the rows. It is recommended to use about two liters of fertilizer solution per linear meter of the garden.

To enhance the effect, after applying the nutrient liquid between the rows, it is advisable to pour warm, settled water over the beets. In this way, the plants will receive the necessary support and will be ready for an impressive harvest at the end of the season.

As a reminder, the quality and quantity of the potato crop depends on the time of planting and growing conditions.
