How to fertilize apple and cherry trees to ensure a good harvest next year: tips from gardeners

In the autumn, one of the most important procedures in caring for fruit trees is fertilizing them, as it is essential for their health and development.

This procedure is especially crucial if you want a good harvest next year.

So, how do you properly fertilize an apple or cherry tree?

Apple Tree

First, you need to water the tree abundantly to ensure optimal nutrient absorption. Afterward, take a handful of ash and 30 grams of superphosphate for each apple tree and work this mixture into the soil around the base of the tree.

Cherry Tree

This same recipe can also be used for apricot trees if they are present on your property. To fertilize these trees, take a bucket of water and add 2 large spoons of potassium sulfate and 3 spoons of superphosphate. Use a bucket of the prepared mixture for each seedling.
