What should be fed to currants to get an incredible harvest: advice from summer residents

Currant is one of the most popular crops among summer residents in Ukraine. However, the bushes of this plant may not give a generous harvest.

In order to get large berries, it is necessary not only to choose the right variety. Summer residents also have advice on what to feed the crop to increase yield.

Yeast will be needed to prepare the fertilizer. It is necessary to take 100 g of fresh or 30 g of dry yeast per 1 liter of water.

For faster fermentation, you should add half a glass of sugar to the mixture and mix thoroughly. Yeast and sugar should dissolve.

After that, you should add 4 liters of warm water to the solution and leave it in a dark, warm place for several days. It is advisable to periodically stir the mixture.

The resulting liquid should be divided into equal parts of 1 liter each and diluted with 9 liters of clean water. Currants should be watered with this solution in warm weather, 3-5 liters of the mixture per bush.

We remind you that you can grow chufu, ground almonds or tiger nuts in the garden - an incredibly nutritious product. It contains a lot of fat, sugar, protein, and starch. Chufa is three times more nutritious than peanuts.
