Ukraine's Special Forces fighters destroyed "Igla" MANPADS together with occupants using FPV drone (video)
The Special Operations Forces unit tracked down and neutralized a Russian observation post. It happened in the southern direction of the frontline.
The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted a video of their work on Facebook.
It shows how aerial reconnaissance spotted a Russian observation post, which they had placed on a tower and covered with boards. The enemy's "Igla" MANPADS were also located there.
The enemy's observation tower and weapons were destroyed by a precision strike from an FPV drone.
"A man-portable air defense system position set up by the Russian occupants was destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. UAV operators used an attack FPV drone at the moment when the Russians were on duty at the position. The drone was destroyed by a precise hit, along with the anti-aircraft system and its owners," the commentary to the video reads.
As a reminder, Ukrainian servicemen recently discovered and destroyed a place from which the occupiers launched drones. The soldiers used Mavic 3 and Mavic 3T drones to do so.
