During April, the Earth will be "stormed" for eight days. The magnetic storms will be of varying intensity.

The weather website Meteoagent has warned of days that are dangerous for health. As weather-dependent people, the elderly, and the chronically ill may feel unwell at this time.

As you know, magnetic storms are potentially hazardous to health, which are warned about in solar laboratories. That is, at this time, there is a perturbation of the Earth's magnetic field lasting from several hours to several days caused by the arrival of excited high-speed solar wind flows and the associated shock wave in the vicinity of our planet.

Such geomagnetic fluctuations can negatively affect the operation of communication systems and human health.

Magnetic storm calendar for April 2023

A weak magnetic storm occurred in the first days of April. After that, there will be a certain lull until April 10-11. Then, on April 16-17, a storm with a magnitude of 4 is expected. However, a few days later, on April 20-21, a magnetic storm with a magnitude of 6 is expected.

  • April 1-2 – weak magnetic storm;
  • April 10-11 – weak magnetic storm;
  • April 16-17 – minor magnetic fluctuations;
  • April 20-21 – a powerful magnetic storm.

How to improve your health during magnetic storms

Weather-dependent people, the elderly, and people with chronic diseases may experience headaches, high blood pressure, dizziness, nausea, joint and muscle pain, insomnia or drowsiness, weakness, and exacerbation of chronic diseases during days of magnetic field disturbances.

To feel better on the dangerous days, follow simple rules:

  • Drink more pure water and herbal/green tea.
  • Consume less or completely give up coffee, alcohol, cigarettes, hookah.
  • Eat more seasonal vegetables and greens, eat less fried, spicy and fatty food.
  • Spend more time outdoors, walking and exercising.
  • Ventilate the room regularly.
  • Avoid stress and conflicts, be less nervous.
  • Take a contrast shower before going to bed.
