DIU predicts frequency of Russian missiles and drones in Ukraine

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has predicted how often Russia can launch massive attacks with missiles and drones. The enemy continues to build up its forces.

This was stated by Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, during a national telethon. According to him, the massiveness and frequency of strikes by Russia will depend on the accumulated stockpiles.

Skibitskyi stressed that Russia is currently using the full range of available missile weapons. This indicates a decrease in the aggressor country's stockpile.

In addition, Russia continues to produce missiles on its territory, but this does not cover all the costs of the Russian armed forces.

"That's why we note that the last strike was about 30 cruise missiles - the number Russia can produce in a month. And, accordingly, everything that comes off the assembly line is used for the strike," Skibitskyi said.

According to him, the occupiers must have a strategic stockpile of missiles and cannot use all types of these weapons down to zero. Therefore, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has drawn several conclusions:

  1. The occupiers will continue to strike.
  2. The massiveness of massive strikes will depend on the stockpiles they accumulate. This will affect the timing.

"If they used to be able to strike every week, now we see maybe once a month, and in the future it may be less," the DIU representative said.

He reminded that missile production in Russia is affected by sanctions.

Recall that after the massive attack on March 9, the occupiers used six expensive hypersonic missiles of the Kinzhal type carried by MiG-31K aircraft. The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has revealed how many such missiles remain in Russia.
