At night, on the county road in Golembe, Hrubieszów County (Lublin Voivodeship, Poland), a bus accident occurred, which overturned on the road. The vehicle was carrying 61 people, all of them citizens of Ukraine. 18 people were injured.

This was reported by tvn24.pl. The accident occurred at about 4 a.m. The bus fell on its side on a road bend. According to the spokesperson for the State Fire Service in Hrubieszów, Senior Captain Marcin Lebedowicz, it was snowing at the time of the accident, but this did not cause the accident.

There were 59 passengers and two drivers on the bus. 18 people were bruised and taken to hospitals. The rest of the passengers were taken to a neighboring cultural center. The ring road where the accident occurred remains closed in both directions. Traffic difficulties are expected to continue.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway. According to Polish media, the bus was traveling from Ukraine to Germany. Rescuers, police, and medics are working at the scene.
