In Ecuador, pilot Ariel Valiente was able to maintain control of the plane he was flying at an altitude of almost 3 kilometers after a huge bird crashed through the windshield and injured the pilot.

According to TMZ, Valiente was flying the plane over Vinces in the province of Los Rios when a large bird crashed into the windshield and got stuck in it.

Despite the fact that the dead bird was sticking out of the windshield, Valiente continued to pilot the plane and even filmed the aftermath of the incident. In the video, he first shows the bird's carcass and then turns the camera to his bloody face.

The video quickly spread on social media and went viral. Social media users appreciated Valiente's calm behavior.

As for the bird that rammed the plane, it is preliminarily known that it could have been an Andean condor with a wingspan of up to 3 meters.

As a reminder, in Kenai, Alaska, a wild moose ran into a movie theater when the staff opened the door to ventilate the room. The animal ate some popcorn and left.
