According to a representative of the UOC-MP, Russians are bombing peaceful Ukrainian cities by the will of God.

Two parishioners of the Lavra said that the war in Ukraine was caused by "lawlessness and disobedience to the authorities."

In addition, they called the leader of the aggressor country "their ruler" and glorified him in every possible way. As it turned out, they forgot the name of their president for some reason.

"This is our ruler... What else? His Holiness the Patriarch and Putin, and in Kievan Rus, Zelenkovsky (probably referring to Ukrainian President Zelensky). And Michael the Archangel said: obey the authorities. If they don't obey the authorities... Yanukovych was like, "We don't want him," children are so young on the Maidan... I don't even want to talk about it. You're a child, and you're going against the authorities," the Putin fans said.

The women also justified the Russian president by saying that it was not he who gave the order to launch the missiles, but God.

"Do you know what kind of arrows He can send for lawlessness? The angels can send arrows that can make the whole world fall apart. For lawlessness, for disobedience, for disobedience to authority. Anyone can do what they want. The little ones are protesting against Yanukovych," said the parishioner.

According to one of the representatives of the UOC-MP, it was God who gave Putin the authority to invade Ukraine.

"God gave Putin the right. He was given the power by God, Michael the Archangel said so," the woman said.
