Ukrainian troops capture occupants' trenches near Bakhmut and push back Wagner mercenaries (video of battle)
Ukrainian troops near Bakhmut drove Wagner mercenaries out of their trenches. The soldiers of the 3rd Battalion of the 92nd Separate Mechanised Brigade managed to do this in close combat.
Later, the occupiers asked for a ceasefire in order to take away the bodies of the dead. The battle, filmed with the help of a drone, was published by the fighters of the Omega National Guard special unit.
It is noted that Ukrainian defenders are pushing the Russian occupiers away from Bakhmut in some areas.
"In this video, the 3rd battalion of the 92nd Brigade is fighting in the Wagnerian trenches. Spoiler. Our troops captured them. But some details of the battle clearly show that Wagner's commanders are unprincipled bastards who do not keep their word and do not reckon with their own people," the statement said.
It is specified that Ukrainian defenders approached the positions of the Wagnerites from three sides and opened fire on the mercenaries. When one of the wounded invaders crawled to his commander, he shot the occupier.
"When it became clear that the Wagner mercenaries would not hold this position, they called for a 'ceasefire' to collect their dead and wounded before retreating. The Ukrainians allowed this to happen. The video shows the two commanders negotiating. But the occupier did not keep his word. He threw a grenade at the Ukrainians while retreating. Nobility is not about Russian hordes. The 3rd Battalion of the 92nd Brigade promises the occupiers to take into account the peculiarities of Horde psychology in the future," Omega added.
Earlier, the network showed how Ukrainian artillerymen fired on the occupiers' dugouts near Bakhmut.
