Three indoor plants that can eliminate dust include:

  • English ivy (Hedera helix) is an evergreen plant with large, shiny leaves. Dust settles on ivy leaves and is easily removed with a damp cloth.
  • Ficus elastica (Ficus elastica) is a plant with large, leathery leaves. Ficus leaves are also effective at trapping dust.
  • Chlorophytum tufted (Chlorophytum comosum) is a plant with long, thin leaves. Chlorophytum leaves release oxygen, which also helps to clear the air of dust.

These plants are effective in absorbing dust, are low maintenance and will become a home decoration.

Remember to dust the plants regularly with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Do not use hard materials that can damage the foliage. Otherwise - dust will only accumulate.

Plants with fluffy or stiff leaves can be cleaned by using a hair dryer on low power. Also, spray the leaves of the plants with water to prevent dusting.
