SBU Special Forces eliminate enemy's "Murom-M" surveillance complex with kamikaze drone (video)

Ukrainian defenders used a kamikaze drone to destroy a Russian autonomous mobile video and thermal surveillance system "Murom-M". During the successful attack, the explosion also eliminated enemy manpower.

A video of the drone attack on the Murom-M system was posted on social media. It was posted on the Eskadron Telegram community.

It is noted that the enemy surveillance station was worked on by fighters of the Special Operations Centre "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine.

"Another precise use of the UJEE craftname grasshopper by a special unit of the SBU's Special Operations Centre "A". The result was the destruction of a Murom-M video-thermal surveillance system. According to the interception, three occupants who were servicing it were injured. And some of them, fingers crossed, may have died," the community commented on the footage.

Murom-M complex, characteristics:

This complex is designed for round-the-clock remote video-thermal surveillance, control and protection of open areas, approaches, perimeters and routes to objects.

It performs the functions of determining (clarifying) the location of a violation of the protected area, issuing an "Alarm" command (signal) and displaying information in real time on the station monitor and archiving events. "Murom allows scanning the controlled area in manual mode and in video location mode.

The distinctive features of the system are its quick deployment and long-term autonomous operation. The mobility of the complex is ensured by the quick-assembly/disassembly design of the product components. The complex can be deployed on the protected area in 2 hours by a team of 3 people. Special cases are used for packing and transporting the components of the complex.

Main features:

• The detection range of a long-range video camera is 10 thousand metres.
• Detection range of the thermal imager is 4000 m (man), 7900 m (car).
• Automatic scanning mode of predefined control points with target detection of up to 30 points.
• The camera's field of view is 360 degrees horizontally and 45 degrees vertically.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military conducted a series of successful counter-attacks near Bakhmut and crushed the enemy. Soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade were engaged in eliminating the enemy.
