On June 24, the founder of the Russian private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, who announced his intention to seize power in Russia, said that his militants had "landed" three Russian military helicopters that attacked Wagner's convoys.

"We shot them down, third one already. And we will shoot them all down if you continue to send them," he said to the Russian military.

Later, it became known that one of the Russian helicopters was shot down by Wagner group in Voronezh region. The wreckage of the helicopter fell near the Moscow highway.

The Wagner leader said that his militants would destroy all air targets if there was a threat of attacks.

Meanwhile, photos of one of the shot Ka-52 helicopters, which crashed in the Voronezh region, appeared on Russian social media.

The crew is said to have been killed.

As a reminder, the Russian army used attack helicopters to fire on the Wagner convoy.
