In Britain, a 28-year-old graphic design student, Tina Sabine, accidentally touched a dangerous shrub while walking and suffered serious burns. The woman spent almost a month in the hospital.

She said that after touchicng the hogweed, she felt nothing at first. She went to bed at night, and in the morning woke up in severe pain and could not move. She called her friend and she immediately took Tina to the hospital.

When Tina was admitted to the hospital, the doctors initially thought that someone had poured acid on her.

But it turned out that she had a severe allergic reaction to the plant. In addition to being severely swollen and blistered, the hospital diagnosed her with a blood clot near her spine, which was the reason she could not move.

The woman said that she looked like a "Teletubby" NewsBeezer reports.

After a long treatment, she did not feel her injured arm for almost a month and could not walk normally. Thus, she had to use an electric scooter for six months.

Doctors warned the woman to never touch the hogweed and urged other people in Britain not to do so. Due to the chemicals in the plant's sap, it can cause photodermatitis, or photosensitivity, which makes the skin very sensitive to sunlight. It can further lead to blisters, pigmentation, and non-healing wounds.
