In Ukraine, Christians will soon celebrate one of the biggest holidays - Easter. In 2023, Catholic Easter falls on April 9, and Orthodox Easter falls on April 16.

However, due to martial law in Ukraine, a curfew has been introduced. The authorities did not begin to cancel or adjust the restrictions for Easter.

In various regions, the curfew has its own time limits, approved by local military administrations. In particular:

  • Kyiv and the region - curfew from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Vinnytsia and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Lutsk and Volyn region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Dnipro and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Donetsk region - from 21:00 to 05:00;
  • Zhytomyr and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Uzhhorod and Zakarpattia Oblast – there is no curfew;
  • Zaporizhzhia and the region - from 23:00 to 05:00;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Kropyvnytskyi and Kirovohrad regions - from 23:00 to 05:00;

  • Luhansk region - from 21:00 to 05:00;
  • Lviv and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Mykolaiv and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Odesa and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Poltava and the region - from 00:00 to 04:00;
  • Rivne and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Sumy and the region - from 23:00 to 04:00;
  • Ternopil and the region - from 23:00 to 05:00;
  • Kharkiv and the region - from 23:00 to 05:00;
  • Kherson and the region - from 20:00 to 06:00;
  • Khmelnytskyi and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00;
  • Cherkasy and the region - from 00:00 to 04:00;
  • Chernihiv and the region - from 00:00 to 04:00;
  • Chernivtsi and the region - from 00:00 to 05:00.

During the curfew, you cannot be outside or in public places. You can only go out to get to the nearest shelter in the event of an air raid alert.

We remind you that Maundy Thursday is one of the Easter holidays that precede Easter itself. In 2023, Catholics will celebrate it on April 6, and Orthodox - on April 13.
