Most gardeners prefer soil that can be purchased in specialized stores. Such soil has already been treated for pests or diseases and may contain a certain amount of minerals.

If you use soil from the garden for seedlings, it needs to be supplemented with nutrients and disinfected.

High-moor peat is often used for seedlings. It can be used to fill growing containers. But it contains almost no nutrients, so in this case, you should feed the seedlings well.

Potato starch can accelerate the growth of seedlings and make them strong. Starch itself contains nothing but carbohydrates. It feeds the microorganisms that live in the soil and help plants grow.

Thanks to starch, the plant will germinate better, and the development of the root system will accelerate. Seedlings will be able to get more nutrients from the soil.

For 10 liters of soil, you only need 2 tablespoons with a slide. Mix thoroughly and water the soil additionally before sowing the seeds. Watering is also necessary before diving into the plants. This fertilizer is also great for indoor plants, especially if you want to transplant them to another pot.
