How to protect the car windshield from cracks: an effective life hack

As drivers know well, cracks on the "windshield" of a car are an extremely unpleasant problem. Even if these damages seem minimal, they can lead to unpleasant consequences and the need to replace the glass. In particular, the driver can get into an unpleasant situation with the police, who can issue a fine for the "malfunction" of the vehicle.

However, if replacing the glass is not possible in the near future, there are some life hacks that will help reduce the danger and visually improve the appearance of the car. One of these methods is the use of transparent nail polish.

Before applying varnish, you need to thoroughly wash and degrease the surface of the glass with alcohol. Then, applying varnish, is necessary to carefully fill the crack. Residues of varnish that harden can be carefully scraped off with a blade. After this treatment, the damage will be practically invisible, and the glass will remain transparent.

Although this method will only help temporarily, it is effective enough to reduce the risk of road hazards and preserve the appearance of the car. However, you should replace the damaged glass with new glass as soon as possible to avoid further problems.
