Last Bell holiday in Kyiv

On June 15, Kyiv schools celebrated the last bell. This event has been held for the second year in a row in the context of a full-scale Russian invasion.

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondriyivskyi said that schools did not receive any special recommendations from the KCSA on how to conduct the festivities, except for security.

In particular, the KCSA reminded that in the event of an air raid alert, everyone should go down to the shelters. This is exactly what happened today. When the air raid siren was announced, school graduates had to celebrate in the subway and in bomb shelters.

Videos posted on social media show children dressed in festive clothes sitting in subway passageways, and some even dancing a waltz in shelters.

As a reminder, the number of subjects in Ukrainian schools may be reduced. This was reported by Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi on Facebook.
