Housewives advised 7 effective ways to clean stove handles from dirt and grease
Cleaning stove tops from dirt and grease can be a frustrating task. But this problem can be solved easily and effortlessly.
TSN has suggested some quick methods for cleaning the handles from grease and dirt:
- Prepare the necessary tools: hot water, dishwashing liquid, sponge, baking soda, and vinegar.
- Mix the hot water and dishwashing liquid in a bucket.
- Dip a sponge into the solution and wipe the stove handles.
- Wait for 2 minutes for the grease to dissolve under the influence of the detergent.
- Wipe the handles thoroughly with the sponge. If grease remains, repeat the procedure.
- For more stubborn stains, mix baking soda and vinegar to create a paste.
- Apply the resulting mixture to the stove handles, leave for a few minutes, and then wipe with a sponge.
If you want to clean the removable handles of a gas or electric stove, check that they really come off. If the handles come off easily, use a baking soda and hot water-based cleaner, then rinse them.

If the handles are not removable, there are several effective ways to clean them:
- Laundry soap: Rub a bar of laundry soap and add a little water. This mixture is ideal for cleaning grease from the surface of the knobs.
- Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide: A mixture of 2 teaspoons of baking soda and a little 3% hydrogen peroxide makes a great paste for removing dirt from handles.
- Wet wipes: Using wipes that contain alcohol will help remove grease and dirt.
- Anise drops: Use anise drops that contain ammonia to clean the pens.
- Hotel mix: Mix alcohol, glycerin, water, and ammonia in equal parts to create a strong cleaning solution.
- Lemon juice: Lemon juice contains an acid that dissolves grease. Use it to clean your pens.
With these methods, you can quickly and easily clean your stove handles from grease and dirt.
