Members of the ATESH movement conducted a special operation in Kherson region. Thanks to a well-thought-out plan, they destroyed the Russians' R-161 communication system.

According to the movement, on June 22, one of their agents from the Russian military sneaked into the location of a neighboring unit and set fire to the R-161 communication system.

"A new unit of the occupiers arrived in the village where our agent is located. The agent, being a Russian soldier, gained the trust of his colleagues and set fire to their communication complex. He waited until they were heavily intoxicated, as they were drinking beer during their service," the statement said.

ATESH noted that they had been preparing for this operation for a long time and were able to carry it out successfully.

"As long as we are working, the Nazis will not be able to feel at ease on Ukrainian soil. We will destroy the occupiers' equipment everywhere. You can't hide from us inside your army," the movement added.

For reference: R-161 "Search" is a complex of high and medium power VHF-UHF automobile radio stations used for radio communication in open space. This complex was developed in the USSR and was used to provide communications for military units and state security agencies.

The components of the R-161 Search complex include car and stationary radios operating in the VHF (shortwave) and UHF (ultra-shortwave) bands. These radios have high signal transmission power, which allows for long-distance communication. It is a reliable means of communication in the absence of stable mobile communication or when it is necessary to provide secure communication.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian military movement ATESH, together with the Crimean Tatars, reported that the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant was blown up by the 1st Battalion of the 205th Motorized Rifle Brigade, based in Budyonovsk, Stavropol Territory.
