A scientist has revealed the secrets of longevity that can help you live up to 120 years
Walter Longo plans to live to an unusually late age thanks to a carefully designed daily routine and healthy habits. Hundreds of long-livers who have been the subject of his research and interviews serve as a source of inspiration for him.
Many of the long-livers he studied were physically active for several hours every day. Thus, Longo decided to lead an active lifestyle, even carrying his luggage at the airport instead of using the elevator. This was reported by Today.

"Carrying things is what we were created for. If you don't do it, your muscles become weaker, and you become less active, which can lead to problems," he says.
Walter Longo has an ambitious goal not only to live to be 100 years old but to go beyond that. His main focus is the diet, which he sees as the main factor in increasing life expectancy.
The researcher pays special attention to the pescatarian diet, which includes fish and seafood along with plant-based foods. He gets most of his protein from legumes such as chickpeas, lentils, and black beans. Longo's menu also includes whole grains, vegetables, and a significant amount of olive oil. Nuts and dark chocolate with 85% cocoa content are an important part of his diet. He also drinks one or two glasses of wine a week.
Dr. Longo warns against eating too much protein and recommends consuming more carbohydrates, which are found in vegetables and whole grains. He exercises daily on an exercise bike to maintain cardio function and walks for at least an hour. His approach to life includes a variety of physical activities to help keep his body in good shape.
Longo advises being careful about fruit consumption due to its high sugar content and recommends limiting sugar in the diet in general. In addition, he emphasizes the importance of keeping blood sugar levels low.
