A great combination: a recipe for oatmeal pie with apples

A great option for those who like simple baking. Oatmeal makes the texture of the cake tender, and apples add juiciness and flavor. You can use pears, plums, apricots, or other fruits and berries instead of apples.

Ingredients:

- 200 g of oatmeal

- 100 g of flour

- 100 g of sugar

- 100 g of butter

- 2 eggs

-1 tsp. baking powder

-1 tsp vanilla sugar

- a pinch of salt

- 3-4 apples

- 2 tbsp of powdered sugar

1. Mix the cereal, flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance to soften it. Add the softened butter and eggs to the dry mixture and knead into a soft and non-sticky dough.

2. Put ⅓ of the dough in the refrigerator, and spread the rest in a greased baking dish.

3. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices.

4. Place the sliced apples in an even layer on the dough. Take the rest of the dough out of the refrigerator and grate it on a coarse grater on top.

5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake for 40 minutes.
