Iryna Lazun, a food blogger, shared her recipe for cooking poached eggs at home on her Instagram page. To prepare a poached egg at home, you will need:

  • egg;
  • 100 ml of water;
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

First, take a small bowl or cup that can be placed in the microwave. Next, pour water into this bowl, add salt and mix thoroughly until the salt is completely dissolved.

After that, carefully crack the egg into the bowl to preserve the integrity of the yolk. The water should completely cover the egg. Put the bowl in the microwave with a power of 800 watts for 1.5-2 minutes.

It is important to observe the cooking process, as the cooking time depends on the power of the appliance. When the egg is ready, you can take it out. Add your favorite ingredients and enjoy a gourmet breakfast.
