How to make jelly candies without chemicals and dyes at home from berry or fruit puree, water and gelatin
The author of the Ukrainian Instagram blog Delicious Home Recipes has posted a short video showing how to make healthy jelly sweets at home quickly and easily without using chemical additives and artificial colors. According to the blogger, the candies will be ready to eat in just four hours after preparation.
Ingredients:
- 250 g of fruit or berry puree;
- 40 g of gelatin;
- 150 ml of cold water;
- 2.5 tbsp. l honey.
Method of preparation:
- Dissolve the gelatin by pouring cold water over it and let it swell for 15 minutes;
- Use a blender to puree five peaches, then sift it through a sieve to get a smooth consistency;
- Add the honey to the peach puree and mix well;
- Heat the mixture over low heat and add the swollen gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved;
- Fill the jelly mass with a large mold or pour it into small molds that you prefer;
- Put the candies in the refrigerator and leave them there to harden. It usually takes about four hours.
