If you have already cooked fish, there are several natural ways to get rid of the smell in the kitchen and throughout the house:
1. White vinegar. For this ingredient to be effective and absorb unpleasant frying odors, simply heat or boil the vinegar in a saucepan without covering it for 6 minutes. The steam will remove the unpleasant smell of fried fish.
2. Lemon and cloves. Combined, these two ingredients work as a deodorizer to get rid of stubborn odors, including frying. Pour a little water into a saucepan, add the squeezed lemon juice and 3 cloves, then bring to a boil without covering the pan.
3. Baking soda. It is very useful for getting rid of the smell of raw fish, as this white powder helps to deodorize the kitchen sink. Simply use it as a paste by mixing a cup of baking soda with a little water. Apply the mixture to the sink, rubbing it in with a sponge to remove odors.
4. Air purifier. A more expensive but effective solution for very quick elimination of the smell of frying in the kitchen and throughout the house. Indeed, some air purifier models are equipped with a special filter and an activated carbon filter that purifies the surrounding air. Activated charcoal is a natural product known for its anti-odor properties. Simply place this appliance in the kitchen to get rid of odors left over from cooking.
