Salted and crispy cucumbers are a favorite dish in many families. Pickled cucumbers with grapes is one of the most delicious and original cucumber recipes for the winter.

These cucumbers will have a slightly sweet and sour flavor and an incredible aroma of grapes.

Ingredients (for 2 three-liter jars):

  • 1 kg of cucumbers
  • 1 kg of grapes (Isabella variety)
  • 2 leaves of horseradish
  • 1/2 bunch of dill
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tsp of sugar
  • 6 tbsp of salt
  • 20 black peppercorns
  • 4 pieces of bay leaf

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the cucumbers well and soak in cold water for 3 hours.
  2. Wash and sterilize the jars in which you will close the cucumbers.
  3. Grapes should also be washed well and the berries should be separated from the bunches.
  4. Put horseradish leaves, garlic, and bay leaves in the bottom of the jar. Then put in the cucumbers and grapes.
  5. Put dill on top and pour boiling water over the cucumbers. Then cover the jar with a lid and leave for 7-10 minutes.
  6. Then pour the liquid into a saucepan, bring it to a boil and pour it over the cucumbers again. Leave for 7-10 minutes.
  7. Pour the liquid from the cucumbers into a saucepan, put the saucepan on the fire, add sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring the marinade to a boil and pour it over the cucumbers.
  8. Cover the jar with a lid, put it in a pot of water, and sterilize the cucumbers at a low boil for 20 minutes.
  9. Then roll up the cucumbers, turn the lid down, and cool them.

The pickled cucumbers with grapes are ready! They can be stored in a cool place for up to a year.
